The Mariama Ba School is a school of excellence for girls with boarding school, middle and high school. Located on the island of Gorée, off the coast of Dakar, this school bears the name of a great Senegalese writer.

In 2022, the BANK OF AFRICA Foundation invested more than 60,000 euros to improve the study and working conditions of young girls: construction of a home for the school nurse, repairs to the library and sports field and a donation of equipment for the laundry room.

A ceremony was organized on December 16, 2022, in the presence of Amine Bouabid, BOA Group CEO, Alioune Ndour Diouf, Foundation and BOA-SENEGAL Chairman, Abdel Zampalégré, BOA-SENEGAL MD, accompanied by a large BOA delegation.
