BANK OF AFRICA – UGANDA received a special recognition award for being the pioneer partner in e-water and the highest performer in revenue collection from the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC).

NWSC is a public utility company owned by the government of Uganda and is responsible for providing access to quality water and sewerage services for communities across the country.

BOA-UGANDA has continuously encouraged its customers to pay for their water bills through its convenient channels such as Mobile Wallet, agent banking, and internet banking.

The award is a reflection of BOA-UGANDA’s mission to serve its customers with efficiency and courtesy. The Bank was also a runner up partner in the banks’ category for revenue collection and received a certificate of recognition.

The award handover was during a breakfast meeting hosted by NWSC on Friday 9 December 2022.
