Contemporary creation in all its forms has always been rich in Senegal, especially in Dakar.

The city is indeed one of the most dynamic African capitals in the field and many artists live there, work and exhibit.

The Chairman of BANK OF AFRICA, Othman Benjelloun, wished to pay tribute to this creative wealth by supporting the publication of a book: Dakar, nid d’Artistes.

From Youssou N’dour to Solly Cissé, via Daara J Family or Bibi Seck, this book guides the reader through the rich and varied culture in Dakar.

With texts by Aisha Dème, a famous cultural activist, this book was edited by Malika editions.

It was presented on Thursday 22 December 2022 in Dakar, in the presence of many artists.
