BOA-SENEGAL organized on April 20, 2024 an ecological outing in partnership with the association Nebeday in the village of Popenguine Sérère, 60 km from Dakar.

This initiative is part of the Bank’s CSR commitments and aims to raise teams’ awareness of environmental issues.

Here is a summary of the moments experienced by the colleagues, who came as a family.

• Exploring the agricultural perimeter: sustainable agricultural practices implemented by the women of the village. This allowed a better understanding of the impact of any action on the environment.
• Workshops : participation in tree planting and nursery activities. These activities strengthened team cohesion.
• Exchanges with Nebeday members and women farmers.We must all think on our daily habits and identify concrete ways to reduce our ecological footprint
