Senegal: Construction of a maternity unit in Fatick
On November 9, 2021, the BANK OF AFRICA Foundation inaugurated a maternity ward in Ndiaye Ndiaye (Fatick region, 150 km from Dakar).
This maternity unit will strengthen the local health center, whose prenatal visits, deliveries, and family planning follow-up exceeded its capacities by far. The new facility will improve access to healthcare for hundreds of women and children.
