BANK OF AFRICA - GHANA celebrates customer service month

Customer service week is a yearly celebration marked across the world by institutions to raise awareness about the value of customer service. The Global theme for this year’s celebration was, “Celebrate Service”.

As has been the practice at BANK OF AFRICA – GHANA, it was a month long celebration. This year, more attention was given to our internal customers, “The Staff”. The aim was to boost the morale of Staff and foster teamwork. This year’s celebration was dubbed, “A happy Staff makes a happy customer”.
Throughout the month, activities such as “Rep you football Team”, where Staff wore jerseys of their favorite football clubs; “Pink Day” where Staff wore pink to commemorate the Breast Cancer awareness month; “BOA Goes Green” where Staff dressed down, with a touch of Green to portray the brand.

The highlight of all the activities was when staff had to Dress like Our Customers; the “Career Day”. Customers were delighted to visit the banking halls to see Staff dressed like them. The euphoria around these activities was very impressive and contagious.

The DMD, Fatoumata Gakou and some Heads of Departments also took time off to visit some customers at their various offices and shops. This created a great bond between the bank and the customers.

The month long celebration was climax with the Bank providing snacks and drinks at the banking halls to refresh the customers. Customers were also gifted with BOA branded souvenirs.
