On the occasion of the World Diabetes Day, BOA-SENEGAL supported financially (1 M FCFA – 1,500 €) a screening operation led by the Lions Club of Dakar.

During a whole day, on November 12, 2022, hundreds of people were detected, consulted and sensitized, with positive cases directed to hospitals.

The initiative was followed by a fitness session that brought together people of all age range.

Diabetes remains an insufficiently known disease, which affects today 3% to 4% of the Senegalese population.
