This year, the city of Marrakech was chosen to host the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the IMF, wich was attented by over 15,000 people participated, from October 9 to 15, 2023.

The BOA CEO, Amine Bouabid, participated and met many economic and political leaders, Governors of Central Banks – WAMU, CEMAC, Rwanda, Madagascar, Tanzania, Ghana and Comoros – Ministers of Finance and Budget – Côte d’Ivoire, DRC and Comoros-, as well as leaders of banking groups and international institutions.

Amine Bouabid was accompanied by Mamadou Igor Diarra, Regional Director for Central Africa, and Laura Tran, Head of Investments.
